Cornelia is lit for the holidays.
Friday night, Mayor John Borrow hosted the town’s annual Christmas tree lighting. Bathed in white lights, the tree complements the thousands of white lights that adorn downtown Cornelia and its landmark Big Red Apple.
Earlier, on Thanksgiving, the city flipped the switch on its popular drive-through Christmas in the Park light display. The lights are located at Cornelia City Park off Wyly Street.
