XC teams qualify for state with top-4 finishes at Region Championship

Both the Tallulah Falls School boys and girls varsity cross country teams qualified for the state meet Thursday evening when each team placed inside the top 4 at the Region Championship at Athens Christian.

The Lady Indians came in 3rd overall, while the Indians placed 4th. Timothy Beck was 4th individually for the Indians, while the girls were led by Avery Keim’s 7th-place finish.

In the JV race, 8th-grader Avery Chatman came in 3rd overall, while Meredith Orr won the girls’ JV race.
