Ricky Hunt follows in his father’s footsteps as public works director

CLEVELAND, Ga. – The Cleveland City Council has named Ricky Hunt Public Works Director for the city.

The council made the announcement following an executive session and vote Monday night.

Hunt, who has been with the city of Cleveland for 42 years, has been serving as Assistant Director for the department.

The announcement follows the death in March of Ricky’s father, Donald Hunt, who had served the city for 68 continuous years, a majority of those as public works director.
