The Raiders dropped a 49-7 contest against the Red Elephants in Mt. Airy Friday night.
Gainesville will put its undefeated record on the line next week at home against Shiloh. Habersham Central will host North Forsyth for senior night.
RABUN COUNTY (6-2, 0-1 8-A D1) VS ELBERT COUNTY (7-1, 1-0 8-A D1)
The Wildcats fell to the Blue Devils 21-9 in Tiger Friday. The loss gives Rabun County its first regular season with two losses since the 2014 season.
Next week, the Wildcats will head to Athens Christian, while Elbert County hosts Commerce.
NORTH HALL (6-2, 4-2 8A-AAAA) VS CHESTATEE (0-7, 0-4 8A-AAAA)
The Trojans knocked off the War Eagles 27-0 at The Brickyard Friday.
Next week, Chestatee will host Cedar Shoals.
North Hall will have a bye week before heading to Cedar Shoals on Oct. 27.
JOHNSON (3-4, 1-1 8A-AAAA) AT TOWNS COUNTY (0-7, 0-2 8-A D2)
The Knights picked up another win with a 35-0 shutout of the Indians.
Johnson will head to Druid Hills and Towns County will go to Warren County next week.
FLOWERY BRANCH (4-4, 2-2 8-AAAAA) AT JEFFERSON (7-0, 3-0 8-AAAAA)
The Falcons dropped a region matchup on the road, 41-13, to the Dragons.
Up next, Flowery Branch will have a bye week before hosting Loganville on Oct. 27.
Jefferson will travel to Loganville next week.
CHEROKEE BLUFF (3-5, 3-3 8A-AAAA) AT WALNUT GROVE (3-4, 2-3 8B-AAAA)
The Bears came up short against the Warriors, 21-16, in a region clash on the road.
Next week, Cherokee Bluff will host East Hall and Walnut Grove will head to North Oconee.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY (3-4, 0-1 GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4) VS Lanier Christian (4-3, 1-1 GAPPS AA Region 1)
The Lions picked up a non-region win over Lanier Christian, 14-7, Friday in Gainesville.
Lakeview Academy will travel to Riverside Military next week. Lanier Christian will travel to King’s Ridge Christian.
RIVERSIDE MILITARY (0-7, 0-2 GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4) AT BETHLEHEM CHRISTIAN (8-0, 2-0 GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4)
The Eagles are still searching for that first win of the season as they fall short to the Knights, 51-0.
Next week, Riverside Military will host Lakeview Academy, while Bethlehem Christian goes on the road to Loganville Christian Academy.
