The Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art will hold an opening reception for Nick “NACK” Morris: Single File Consciousness on October 12 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. The exhibition will be on view through November 16.

The reception and museum admission are free to the public.

Morris grew up in North Georgia, where he cultivated his passion for artmaking. After traveling through the United States, Morris returned to Cornelia with the mission to bring art to his community. Local murals can be found throughout Habersham County, including downtown Cornelia, The Hollow Log, and The Copper Pot.

Morris’ exhibition, Single File Consciousness, will feature new paintings and drawings. During the show, he will lead a group of Piedmont University students in creating a new permanent mural on campus.

Morris is the founder and curator of the School Bus Graveyard in Alto, Georgia, a unique artistic installation that has garnered international attention. Since 2012, he has organized an annual painting event at the School Bus Graveyard under the name Crispy Printz. Follow him on Instagram @nacknomore.
