Wesley Bramblett, age 76, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.
Mr. Bramblett was born on September 11, 1946, in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Bill and Beulah Churchwell Bramblett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” Zimmerman Smith, Betty Allen, and Carolyn Hogan.
Mr. Bramblett was employed with Clarkesville Mill for 20 years and then worked another 20 years at Fieldale Farms. Wesley was a fantastic gospel singer and sang in many churches in Georgia and South Carolina, as well as on a television program broadcast in Greenville, South Carolina. He had also sung for many weddings, funerals, gospel singings, and benefit singings. Wesley had written many beautiful songs and also made CDs of his singing and donated them to many people. Wesley’s beautiful voice will be celebrated for many years to come while Wesley is enjoying singing in Heaven. He had also served as Choir Director at Demorest Church of God as well as Homer Church of God for several years and had also taught Sunday School at Demorest Church of God. He had also attended Bible Landmark Church and New Vision Church.
Survivors include his sons, John Bramblett, of Demorest; Lindsey Bramblett, of Demorest; daughter, Deborah Ford, of Demorest; sister, Hellon Skelton, of Demorest; grandchildren, Katrinia, Chelsey, Caleb, Gage, Malachi; great-grandchild, Declyn.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Bible Landmark Church, 810 Old Cleveland Road, Cornelia, Georgia 30531, with the Rev. Carl King and Rev. Bill Trotter officiating.
