Mary Evelyn Amig, 89, of Otto, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015.
Born in Baldwin, GA, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Byrdie Wilbanks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Vansant and Frances Duncan and one brother, Lane Wilbanks. Mary was a member First Baptist Church and the Otto Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rodney Amig, Jr.; four children, Bill K. Brown and Ronnie Hammond both of High Springs, FL, Cherri Lyn Finefrock of Savannah, GA and Linda Sandrige of Ivor, VA; two sisters, Guynelle Creighton of Atlanta, GA, and Betty Pruett of Cornelia, GA and a brother, Donald Wilbanks of Alto, GA. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Dr. Robert Brown and Rev. Jack Jarrett will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 14th at Macon Funeral Home.
