Northeast Georgia Health System officially took control of Habersham Medical Center on July 1. To celebrate, the health system has scheduled a grand opening for the newly-named Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 15.
The event, billed as Habersham Jam, will include free food, live music, touch-a-truck, and more.
The first 200 attendees will receive a prize, according to an event notice released by NGHS.
Parking for the event will be at Piedmont University’s Mize Athletic Center at 428 Laurel Avenue in Demorest. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes.
