Breanna “Bre” Elaine Gibboney

Breanna “Bre” Elaine Gibboney, 45, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed to be with the Lord on May 21, 2023, due to a medical complication.

Raised in Florida, Breanna moved with family to Georgia, where she attended and graduated from East Hall High School in Gainesville. Breanna subsequently earned her Master’s degree in 2016, specializing in Project Management. After a career at TriMark, Breanna stepped into a role with Northside Hospital in HR and talent acquisition, an area she excelled at with determination, quick wit, and an easy smile.

Breanna had many passions, but most of all, she loved her mama, her kids, traveling the world and New Orleans Saints football. Breanna never passed up an opportunity for an adventure, whether it be a quick drive to see the waterfalls in North Georgia or hop a plane to Hawaii; she was determined to see and do it all. A beautiful soul, she is loved by many. Breanna brought laughter, warmth, love, a wicked sense of humor, and an absolute ton of light into the lives of those around her, and that will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her father, Terry Goodson, grandparents, Faye N. and Jewel L. Gilreath, Ray and Ethel Parker, James Lancaster, and her heart sister, Georgette Fitts.

Breanna is survived by her daughter, Alexis Gibboney; son, Christopher Harris; mother, Dee Gibboney; stepparents, Roy Browning and Carol Lancaster; numerous siblings, Bryan Gibboney, Darrell Gibboney, Jason Browning, Duane and Brandi Browning, Josh Browning, Matt and Jenn Breese, Jennifer Parker, Barry and Ashley O’Shea, April Kalaj, Dawn Maturi, Shauna Goodson, Josh, and Melissa Christy; aunt and uncle Elaine and Eddie Richardson; numerous¬nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a multitude of friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A celebration of life will be held at a place and time to be determined.
