White County Public Safety outlines achievements, E-911 data in annual report

White County experienced lower emergency call volumes in 2022, according to a new annual report released this week by the White County Office of Public Safety.

“This report highlights our department and the accomplishments of each division for the year,” says White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.

The 2022 Annual Report also includes statistical data showing call volume and total incidents handled by E-911 communications were down last year compared to previous few years.

E-911 calls to the Cleveland and Helen Police Departments and White County Sheriff’s Office made up the majority of emergency responses in the county.

The report also shows that the White County Animal Shelter took in a total of 1,453 animals in 2022.
