Daniel Lee Carroll, age 44, of Clarkesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Born on December 21, 1978, he was a son of Edith Gertrude Hooper Carroll and the late Jerry Lamar Carroll. Mr. Carroll was employed as an electrician’s helper and, in previous years, had worked as a carpenter, did yard maintenance, and worked at North Georgia Turf. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming and gardening. Daniel was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry N. “Nicky” Carroll.
In addition to his mother, survivors include brother and sister-in-law Terry Carroll (Kelly) of Clarkesville; sister and brother-in-law Tammy Trotter Yeadon (Chris) of Demorest; nephews and nieces Dalton, Taylor, Logan, and Whitney; nephew Tyler; niece, Alex; great-niece and nephew, Carlye and Nicholas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour at the church.
