The TFS tennis teams remained unbeaten with home-opening convincing wins over Habersham Central on Monday afternoon. The Lady Indians won 5-0 and the Indians 4-1.
The girls won in every line, including Ariel Kelsick, Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph, and Katarina Foskey at singles. The Indians got wins with Tanner Davis at number one, TJ Cox at number two in an intense number two match, and both doubles combo lines.
“It was a great first home match with a lot of support from the TFS community,” says coach Anthony Cox. “Habersham Central is a solid program, so the coaching staff was really proud of how everyone performed today.”
The Lady Indians and Indians are both 2-0 on the season.
