White County Public Safety’s Animal Control Division has named Brian Anthony as Senior Animal Control Officer. During a ceremony at White County Public Safety’s Emergency Operations Center, Anthony was pinned with collar brass representing his new rank as Sergeant.
During the pinning ceremony, Director of Public Safety David Murphy said, “Brian works with high integrity and high professionalism. That is why I have no doubt that he will excel in filling this role.”
As Senior Animal Control Officer, Anthony will work alongside Operations Chief Sherrill Dockery to oversee daily operations in the Animal Services Division and oversee personnel training.
Anthony has been with White County Animal Control for three years and has continued his education by obtaining his Animal Control Officer II Certification through the National Animal Control Association. Anthony was recently certified in Pet and Animal CPR First Aid.
