Two fires, two hours apart, kept firefighters in Hall County busy on Sunday.
At approximately 10:45 a.m. Hall County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a single-story residential fire on the 6100 block of Spout Springs Road. Upon arrival, the left back corner of the home showed smoke and flames. Crews attacked the bulk of the fire from inside the residence.
The fire was extinguished quickly within 15 minutes of being dispatched. Hall County Fire Rescue spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger says no one was inside the residence at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
The cause is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office at this time.
Two hours later, at approximately 12:50 p.m. Hall County Fire Rescue arrived at an outbuilding fire on the 3400 block of Dover Road. Arriving units found the building with heavy fire throughout. Crews attacked the bulk of the fire from the exterior of the structure.
The fire was extinguished quickly, and no one was injured. The cause of that fire is also unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
