Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of an early morning blaze that burned a pool house and home in Clermont.
Around 1:40 a.m. on January 14, Hall County Fire Rescue arrived on the scene of a fully involved pool house in the 130 block of Railroad Street. Crews attacked the bulk of the fire from outside the structure. Wind spread the flames to the nearby residence.
“At about 2 a.m., the home directly in front of the pool house became fully engulfed as well,” says Hall County Fire Rescue spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger.
Firefighters worked inside the house to quickly extinguish the flames. During their primary search of the property, they did not find anyone inside either structure.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
