Services set for Tiger man who died in custody

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday for 39-year old Chris Watts of Tiger. Watts died on Wednesday while in the custody of the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested on a parole violation.

No official cause of death has been released but family members say officials told them he died of “cardiac arrest.” Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire says he’s waiting on the State Medical Examiner’s findings before issuing a final ruling. He says that could take up to 90 days.
