Fire forced a family of seven from their home Thursday night in Hall County. The two adults and five children escaped unharmed.
The fire broke out around 8:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Fran Mar Drive in Gainesville, officials say. When firefighters arrived, there was a working fire inside the home.
“All of the residents evacuated the home in time and were all accounted for. The fire was extinguished quickly, and no one was injured on the scene,” says Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger.
Fire personnel called on the American Red Cross to assist the family. The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
