Clara Warren Thorndyke, age 83, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Dacula, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie M. Warren Sr., two infant daughters, Rebecca Diane, & Linda Jean Warren, son Archie M. Warren Jr., and grandson James Archie Warren.
Mrs. Thorndyke is survived by her daughters Veronica Bennett (Ronald), Sheila Rovinelli, special friend Benjie Poole, Tommie Manis (David), daughter-in-law Julie Warren, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She was retired from three companies, the most recent being the Hall County School System. Mrs. Thorndyke has been a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA, for the past twenty Years.
A celebration of Clara’s life will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Cross Roads Baptist Church Lawrenceville, GA, with Pastor Kenny Kuykendall and Associate Pastor Daniel Ertley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 11:00 am until service time at Cross Roads Baptist Church Lawrenceville, GA.
Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park Norcross, GA.
