Frankie Ferguson Loudermilk Henslee

Frankie Ferguson Loudermilk Henslee, age 84, of Demorest, Georgia, crossed over to be with The Lord on Wednesday, December 22, 2022, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Henslee was born on October 3, 1938, in Habersham County, Georgia, to the late Frank and Bonnie Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John P. Loudermilk; sons, Mark Loudermilk, John Frank Loudermilk; and granddaughter, Margaret Ansley; sister, Linda Amos.

Frankie was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, where she served in Vacation Bible School. Prior to her time at Hillside Baptist Church, she was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. Frankie had retired from United Community Bank, having served over 40 years in the Banking Industry. She was an avid reader, enjoying her time reading nearly a book a day, and also loved to go camping and working crossword puzzles. Frankie will be remembered for her Faith in God and having set a Christian example.

Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Rodney Henslee, of Demorest; children, Rhonda Galloway, of Demorest; Reginia Holcomb and Darrell, of Boling Springs, SC; Tim Henslee, of Demorest; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the funeral home.
