Some good Samaritans sought to help after two vehicles collided outside Level Grove Elementary School. The Friday afternoon crash happened around 3:12 p.m. during parent pickup at the end of the school day.
According to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, a van pulled out of the school parking lot into the path of a westbound car. The impact caused the van to overturn. In an effort to help the adult and child inside, bystanders rolled the van upright.
Deputies say there was also an adult and a child in the car. Habersham County Emergency Services responded to the crash but deputies say no one was injured.
Sgt. Kris Hall with the HCSO’s HEAT unit investigated the crash. Possible charges are pending.
