Banks County alum to lead North Hall High’s wrestling program

Mason Patton will be taking over the North Hall High School’s wrestling program. The school’s athletic director Sam Borg introduced Patton as the new head coach on May 6.

Patton is a graduate of Banks County High School where he was a four-time state medalist and one-time state finalist. He began his coaching career in 2014 working at Cornell’s Regional Training Center.

Patton returned to Georgia in 2019 to Dacula High School where he spent two years as an assistant to the program and one year as head coach.

The North Hall Trojans also have a new Assistant Coach, Josh Montecinos. Brandon Kilby was named head wrestling coach at North Hall Middle School.
