What could have been a big disaster wound up being a big nuisance for one truck driver in Habersham County. His tractor-trailer had to be towed after it got stuck on a grassy embankment alongside GA 15/US 441 near Hollywood Wednesday night.
The truck was traveling north on the highway when the driver failed to maintain his lane, according to the state trooper on the scene. The tractor-trailer then crossed over the median and southbound lanes and ran up the embankment.
The truck stopped just short of the woodline near the intersection at Talmadge Drive. Fortunately, the driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.
