Key Clubbers recognized by BOE

The Habersham County Board of Education recognized an outstanding Key Club and some of its outstanding members on Monday. The HCHS Key Club sponsor, teacher Angela Nunnally won an award for her outstanding participation and she said the chapter was “one of the most decorated in the state” at the annual convention in Athens.

Andrea Guillen, the club’s president, won the Outstanding Key Clubber Award and the Outstanding Club Officer Scholarship of $1,000. Annalise Barron received an Outstanding Chair Award for serving on the District Board. Emma Matthews, the club’s vice president, received an Outstanding Chair Award at the District level, and the Georgia District Leadership Scholarship of $1,000.
