Flora Eloise Thomas, age 76 of Alto entered heaven Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Eloise was born May 5, 1945, in Gainesville to the late J.D. & Virginia Brookshire Loggins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, A.R. (Tony) Thomas; children, Dwayne (Kaye) Sexton, Deborah (Robbie) Reed, Tonya (Randy) Hix, Barbara Thomas & Ryan (Amy) Thomas; grandchildren, Kristi (Curtis) Hooper, Stephen Tolbert, Amber (Mitch) Cook, Jason (Anna) Sexton, Clara Hix, Katie Hix & Annah Thomas; great-grandchildren, Alex, Gracie Faith, Hannah, Cooper, Pyper, Gracelyn & Ensley; siblings, Margaret Thomas, Elaine (Wayne) Turpin, Kenneth (Kathy) Loggins; special brother in law, Steve Thomas; many other family members also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Dayton Sosebee officiating. There will be a chance for friends and family to drop by and pay their respects at the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
