Authorities have released the name of a Gainesville man who was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash. 70-year-old Charles Randall Dunagan died after wrecking his Harley-Davidson on Lawson Robinson Road in northwest Hall County on September 28.
According to the preliminary investigation, Dunagan was traveling south on Lawson Robinson Road near Joseph Road. The 2004 Harley-Davidson XL 833 Sportster left the roadway, traveled back onto the road and wrecked.
Patrol deputies and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit responded to the single-vehicle accident at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday. Hall County Fire Services personnel also responded and transported Dunagan to Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
