Stephens County won another round in the Battle of Currahee Mountain. The #4 Indians beat Habersham Central on the Raiders’ home turf tonight, 35-18.
The Raiders (2-2) were seeking to avenge last year’s loss but couldn’t connect on extra points. Stephens County picked up its fifth straight of the season.
After beating North Carolina’s defending 1A champs last week, Rabun County picked up another win Friday in the Carolinas. The Wildcats routed South Carolina’s 2019 Class 2A champions Saluda, 63-7.

The Banks County Leopards dropped to 1-3 on the season, losing to Fannin County (4-1) at home, 13-30. The game marked the return of former Banks head coach Chad Cheatham whose Rebels walked away with the win.
