Paul Ballenger Jr., 58, of Royston, passed away Saturday evening, July 3, 2021, from injuries at the Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, GA.
Born July 11, 1963, in Royston, Georgia, he was the son of Paul Edward and Janette Bernice Nation Ballenger Sr. He was the brother of Edward Ballenger and brother-in-law of the late Roger Goodwin. He was an auto body repair technician with Ed Murdoch Ford Dealership in Lavonia.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Amanda and Jeffery Lord, Colbert, GA, and Jennifer Ballenger, Toccoa; Two sons Steven Ballenger, Toccoa, and Josh Wade Elberton; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley and Andy Mckie, Commerce, and Brenda Goodwin, Royston; Brothers, William Ballenger, Commerce, Robert Ballenger, Canon, and Clinton Ballenger, Homer; and his girlfriend, Terri Patman.
Services will be Thursday at 11 am at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Carithers. Interment will follow at Nails Creek Baptist Church,
The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The families are at their homes.
They will receive friends from 6 until 8 at the funeral home Wednesday evening.
