Chandler Breck Patterson

Chandler Breck Patterson, age 27, of Braselton, Georgia, passed away on June 27, 2021.

He was born the son of Breck Patterson and Lisa Thompson Patterson on February 17, 1994. Chandler was a graduate of Rabun County High School and the University of West Georgia. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi and served as vice-president of that fraternity. Chan enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. He also loved sports like playing golf and basketball. He was a wonderful storyteller who loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved music and dancing and never met a stranger. Chandler was happier than he had ever been after marrying the love of his life, Alyssa Stroner Patterson, three weeks earlier. In his professional life, Chan served his community as a firefighter for the City of Gainesville. Chandler was a patriot with a strong love for God and country. He was a member of Betty’s Creek Baptist Church in Rabun Gap, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lloyd Mitchell.

Chandler’s survivors include his wife, Alyssa Patterson of Braselton; his parents, Breck and Lisa Patterson of Clayton; his in-laws, Russ and Valeri Stroner of Suwanee; his sister, Cylvie Patterson of Clayton; his sister-in-law, Ava Stroner of Suwanee; his paternal grandparents; Delmo and Carolyn Patterson of Clayton; and, his maternal grandmother, Allene Mitchell of Mountain City.

Chan’s family will receive friends on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Rabun County High School Fine Arts Building from 11:00 am until 1:40 pm.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Rabun County High School Fine Arts Building, with Rev. Joey Thompson officiating. The service will be live-streamed on the Clayton Baptist Church’s Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo, and the Clayton Baptist Church’s App. More information can be found at https://www.facebook.com/claytonbaptistchurchclaytonga/.
