The town of Mt. Airy has issued a Boil Water Advisory for some of its water customers.
The advisory affects those living and working near the following locations in Mt. Airy: Keller Road, Chase Road, Wilson Road, Lois Lane, Cross Road, Sixth Street, and Crepe Myrtle.
Officials advise those in the affected areas to boil their water for at least three minutes before drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food with it.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice.
Meanwhile, a Boil Water Advisory issued earlier this week for Clarkesville water customers has been lifted.
