Authorities have arrested a Covington man in connection with the investigation into the murder of Rossana Delgado. Calvin Harvard, age 28, is charged with tampering with evidence and theft by receiving stolen property, officials say.
Officials recovered a white Ford F150 and white Buick Regal belonging to two of the five suspects in the case. They also recovered Delgado’s red Ford Focus.
“All three vehicles are being processed for evidence in this investigation,” says GBI spokesperson Nelly Miles.
The GBI obtained murder warrants for four suspects in the case. All four remain at large, along with a fifth suspect who has not yet been identified. Agents released images of that suspect on April 25.
In addition to seeking the public’s help to ID the suspect, state investigators are asking anyone who knows the woman in the below video to please come forward and identify her.
A camera at a store in Dekalb County captured the video on April 16, the same day the 37-year old Delgado disappeared.
“The GBI is interested in identifying and locating her because she is one of the last known individuals to have contact with the victim Rossana Delgado,” says Miles.
Nationwide search for suspects
Delgado, a taxi driver and mother of two from Barrow County, had been missing nearly five days when deputies found her body. They located her during a welfare check at a residence in Gilmer County, some 100 miles away from where she disappeared.
A nationwide search for the suspects continues.
Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects is asked to contact the GBI tip line at 1-800-597-8477, visit their online tip website, or download the See Something, Send Something app.
