The Tallulah Falls School Board of Trustees has thrown its full support behind President and Head of School Dr. Larry Peevy. The board recently unanimously voted to extend Peevy’s contract by five years.

Peevy has served as President and Head of School since 2007.

“We were delighted to affirm the success of the school under Dr. Peevy’s leadership,” said TFS Board of Trustees Chair Gail Cantrell. “We are pleased and proud of all that has been accomplished.”

During Peevy’s tenure at the private boarding and day school, enrollment has tripled. Several high-profile buildings have been added to the campus, including the newly opened natatorium. According to TFS, student success has also soared, with 100 percent of graduates being accepted at top colleges and universities.

Peevy will stay on at the school located in Habersham County, stating he’s “proud and honored to continue to serve the TFS learning community. With our dedicated faculty and staff, we will continue to prepare leaders for incredible futures.”
