The Rotary Club of Habersham County awarded scholarships to three members of the Tallulah Falls School Class of 2021.
Sydney Coffey and Anna Marie Waites, both of Clarkesville, and Caleb Carter of Demorest, received the awards during the April 22 Rotary meeting. The club awarded Coffey its Morris Scholarship and presented Carter and Waites with Rotary General Fund awards.
According to Rotary member Philip Smith, the scholarship program is in its 36th year, awarding 288 students for a total of $339,900.
“We are proud of this accomplished group of students and appreciate the local Rotary Club’s support of academic excellence,” says TFS President and Head of School Larry Peevy. “This award demonstrates the support of the entire community as our local students continue their education.”
