Thomas Ferrell “Tommy” Scott, age 57 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on October 14, 1963, he was the son of Mary Lee Garrett Scott & the late James Ferrell Scott. Tommy worked as a contractor in the Industrial Heating & Air industry for over 20 years and in his spare time enjoyed mechanical work. He attended Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee Garrett Scott of Mt. Airy, GA; Uncles & Aunts, James & Linda Garrett of Clarkesville, GA; Hillard & Patricia Garrett of Mt. Airy, GA; Aunts, Mildred Hinerman & Melody Hinerman of Orrville, OH; many cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Webb & Rev. David Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday.
