Due to possible inclement weather and black ice conditions on Tuesday, February 16, all District 2 Health Departments, Environmental Health Offices, Children with Special Needs, and District Office will observe a 2-hour delayed opening.
All offices will open at 10 a.m., including all Covid-19 vaccination clinics. Those with vaccine appointments scheduled before 10 a.m. will still be able to get their shots Tuesday, says District spokesperson Dave Palmer.
“People with early appointments should come to the clinic when they feel it is safe for travel to receive their vaccination,” he says.
District 2 covers 13 North Georgia counties including Banks, Dawson, Franklin, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White.
