Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Winder man Tuesday afternoon hiding inside of the church he is charged with burglarizing.
Deputies charged Robert Keith Boyd, 40, with second-degree burglary.
According to HCSO, deputies responded to the call around 1 p.m. Feb. 9 and met with church members who had discovered the break-in at Calvary Baptist Church on Calvary Church Road. Deputies took Boyd into custody without incident inside of the church and recovered money taken during the burglary.
Boyd remained in the Hall County Jail on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10. The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
