Alvin David Crane, age 57 of Baldwin, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Born in Dahlonega, Georgia, on June 26, 1963, he was a son of the late Robert Vanburen Crane and Patricia Ann Sheridan Turpin. Mr. Crane worked for NC Cabinet making furniture. He had a hobby of making things from wood, loved his family and his dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, John Harold “Bob” Turpin.
Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Ninia Elaine Jordan Crane of Baldwin; brothers, Scott Bradley Crane and Jason Harold Turpin; sister, Donna Lynn Pilgram; father-in-law, Lenward Jordan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bobbie & Bill Robinson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Sunday, January 10, 2021, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Lamar Kastner and Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
