The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for the suspect in a recent armed robbery at an area Dollar General store. Authorities released video surveillance of the suspect this week.
The short video clip shows the suspect walking into the Dollar General near the intersection of Atlanta Highway and GA 347/Friendship Road around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11. Authorities say the suspect held up two employees at gunpoint and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the store. The workers were not injured.
Deputies and police from Gainesville and Flowery Branch responded to the scene shortly after the robbery but were unable to locate the suspect. A K9 unit also searched for him but did not find him.
The robber is described as a Black man, approximately 25-30-years-old with buzz cut hair. He was wearing khaki pants, black shoes, and a black T-shirt with a Star Wars graphic design. He was also wearing a white COVID mask.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts should contact HCSO Investigator Grindle at (770) 533-7687.
