The votes are cast. The polls are closed. Now all that’s left is the counting and the waiting.
Americans and people worldwide are anxiously waiting to see who will be the United States’ next president. They’re also waiting and watching to see how the nation reacts.
While there is little that one person acting alone can do to alter a national response, each and every one of us can have an impact collectively within our own communities.
In our Question of the Day series we asked, “Once the ballots are counted and America begins her next chapter, what will you do to help heal our nation’s political divide?”
The responses so far have been many and varied, ranging from the encouraging “love one another” to the far less hopeful “I don’t know that anything can be done at this point.”
Tell us, what you will do.
