Stacy Kay Black

Stacy Kay Black, age 53, of Gainesville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2020, following an extended illness, at the residence of her sister, Tammy Reid.

Miss Black was born in Atlanta, Georgia,  on August 30, 1967, to Kay A. Black and the late Charles Don Black, Sr.  She was a special needs child.  Miss Black was a member of The Torch, Demorest, Georgia.

Survivors included, in addition to her mother, sister and brother-in-law, Tammy Black Reid and Charles, Sugar Hill, Georgia;  brother and sister-in-law, Charles Don Black, Jr. and Rhonda, Winder, Georgia;  nephews, Charles Matthew  Reid, Edwin Daniel Reid, Riley Hayes Black, and Jared Harris Black:   great-nephew, Gavyn Matthew Reid:  great-niece, Savannah  Lynn Reid.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45 am, on Thursday, October 29, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Easterseals North Georgia, 53 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.
