Deputies have filed seven more charges against a Gainesville man in connection with an early October traffic accident that killed his 17-year-old passenger.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit obtained additional arrest warrants today for 25-year-old Shannon Dwight Beauford. They previously charged him with first-degree vehicular homicide in the death of Madison Nicole Gray of Gainesville.
The new charges include second-degree cruelty to children, serious injury by vehicle, DUI of drugs, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to maintain lane, and driving without a license
Beauford has been held in the Hall County Jail since the October 4 accident on White Sulphur Road. Gray was fatally injured when the 2006 Toyota Corolla Beauford was driving left the roadway, rolled, then struck a culvert and embankment. She died at the hospital.
