Mary Eldarado Erwin Garrett, age 78 of Demorest, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Born in Cornelia, Georgia on October 4, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ivory Erwin and Willie Smith Erwin. Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.G. Garrett; a daughter, Patricia Garrett; sister, Grace Erwin.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy George Garrett, Christopher Garrett, Yancy Dan Garrett all of Demorest and Dennis & Marie Rogers of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Kenneth Burton of Clarkesville; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mandy Cook of Alto; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Garrett’s wishes were to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
