Piedmont College will celebrate Spring Commencement 2015 with three days of events and ceremonies at the campus in Demorest April 30–May2.
Events begin Thursday evening as 31 graduating student nurses from Piedmont’s R.H. Daniel School of Nursing receive their pins.
President James F. Mellichamp and Board Chairman Thomas A. “Gus” Arrendale III will present diplomas to 385 undergraduate and graduate students on Saturday during two Commencement ceremonies.

About the speakers –
Robert H. Pittman of Lakemont, Georgia is the founder of the Janus Institute business and community consulting firm. Pittman was named “Top Ten Consultant” by Southern Business and Development magazine. Pittman is a published author with numerous works in the areas of business, community and economic development, real estate and market analysis.
Judge Patricia Barron is Athens-Clarke County’s Chief Magistrate. Judge Barron worked as an attorney with Georgia Legal Services for 20 years in offices throughout the state, and she is the former managing attorney of the Family Violence Clinic, where she trained law students to represent domestic violence victims.
