(Baldwin) – Work was scheduled to resume today on the surface treatment project along State Route 105 in Banks County.
The contractor stopped working earlier in the week after an issue was discovered with the application of the materials used for the project. Georgia Department of Transportation (GA-DOT) officials met with the contractor to resolve the issue.
GA-DOT awarded the project to Colwell Construction Company, Inc. in April 2020 for just over $902,000. It’s expected to be completed by March of next year.
