The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and family members are asking for the public’s help to find a man who’s been missing for nearly a month.
Shane Justice was last seen on August 1 at Pitts Park after he was discharged from Habersham Medical Center, according to investigators. For the past several months he has been known to live in a makeshift homeless settlement under the Sutton bridge on GA-197 North near the Clarkesville park.
The sheriff’s office has issued notices about its search for him on social media and Justice’s family members are asking people to help spread the word.
“If anyone knows where he is, please come forward. It’s not like him to just walk away,” Justice’s cousin Tammy Gomez tells Now Habersham.
Shane Justice is described as a white male approximately 5-feet-10 inches tall. He weighs 200 pounds and has reddish-blond hair.
If you have recently seen him or have information on his whereabouts, please contact Habersham Sheriff’s Investigator Cale Garrison at 706-839-0500.
