The City of Clarkesville has issued a traffic alert for drivers who travel Stanford Mill and Bartley Wilbanks Road.
The near mile-long stretch of road between Washington Street and Monroe Street/Highway 115 is being repaved. Motorists can expect delays.
Work began last week and is expected to resume this week, weather permitting.
The city advises drivers to use alternate routes if possible until the paving is complete.
