Habersham County voters helped choose party nominees for Congress, the State House, and State Senate on Tuesday. They also elected two new county commissioners.
Voter turnout in Habersham was light. Only 27%, or 7,705 of the county’s 27,925 active registered voters cast ballots. That was similar to White County where election officials reported a 26% voter turnout.
