Charges are pending against a Lula man in connection with a wreck that killed an Alto man Thursday evening, July 16, in Hall County.
Jeffrey Allen Garmon, 55, was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, turning left from Mud Creek Road onto GA-365 South when the crash happened. The State Patrol says he failed to yield while crossing the northbound lanes and struck a 1996 Honda Shadow motorcycle driven by Michael Phillip Harbold, 66, of Alto.
Harbold was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Garmon was not injured.
Charges are pending upon completion of the crash investigation by the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT).
