Kathleen Crawford Tucker, age 86 of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Born in Cornelia, Georgia on May 02, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Linton Abbott & Gertrude Kimzey Crawford. Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Greensboro. She enjoyed participating in the ladies Red Hat Society, the High Point Newcomers Club, and various bridge clubs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Tucker and her brother, Linton Crawford.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sam & Jo Ann Tucker, granddaughters, Riley & Carly Tucker, all of Jamestown, NC; grandson, Eli Tucker, Jefferson, GA; great-grandchildren, Kate, Sam, and Gavin Tucker, all of Jefferson, GA; sister, Anne Early, Greensboro, NC; niece, Sharon Crawford Johnson, Cornelia, GA; nephews, Kim Crawford, Mike Crawford, both of Cornelia, GA; and Brian Crawford, Winder, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Level Grove Cemetery in Cornelia, GA., with Dr. Eric Spivey officiating.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the First Christian Church of Greensboro, North Carolina. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
