Johnny Thomas “Tommy” Gray, age 57 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 07, 2020, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on March 29, 1963, he was the son of Betty Powell Gray of Cornelia, Georgia & the late Johnny Franklin Gray. Tommy was a retired Engineer with the Georgia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, being a softball dad, four-wheeling, dirt track racing, camping, Georgia football, & antique cars. Most of all, Tommy loved his wife, Rhonda, and his daughters Kelsie & Kylie more than life itself.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carolyn Bowen Bellamy.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Rhonda Bellamy Gray; daughters, Kelsie Nicole Gray & Kylie Madison Gray, all of Mt. Airy, GA; mother, Betty Powell Gray of Cornelia, GA; father-in-law, Buck Bellamy of Mt. Airy, GA; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Doug & Rhodonna Bellamy of Clarkesville, GA; niece & husband, Lauren Bellamy Siler & Jake Siler; great-nephew, Cohen Siler, all of Nashville, TN; 1 aunt, 1 uncle, several cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerrell Beatty & Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. Interment will follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020.
