Lydia Jean Corn Davis, age 37, of Cumming, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Northside Hospital Forsyth.
Lydia was born on January 4, 1983, in Gainesville, Georgia to Sandy and June Stewart Corn. Lydia was a customer service supervisor for many years at Crystal Springs and Liberty Mutual. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was born a leader and an extraordinary example to everyone she met. She lived her life selflessly with love towards others, generosity, compassion, charity, and devotion to her family. She showed her generous and loving spirit when she sponsored children in need for over 14 years and gave to numerous charities. She had a God-given creative and artistic talent. She had a passion in life to love fiercely and give generously to those she loved and those in need. She will always be remembered for showering and spoiling everyone with gifts. She had a heart of gold and we will always remember her funny, loving, and infectious outgoing personality. She has left remarkable footprints in our lives and precious memories we will cherish forever in our hearts.
Lydia was preceded in death by her grandmothers Shelby Jean Dodd Stewart and Jimmie Lou Hicks Corn.
She leaves behind her loving family: husband, Travis Davis of Cumming; parents, Sandy and June Corn of Cleveland; sisters and brother-in-law Wendy and Jonathan Wallace of Dry Fork, Virginia, Haley Corn of Braselton and Brittany Corn of Cleveland; mother-in-law, Patricia Davis of Pasadena, California; sister-in-law, Vanessa Davis of Pasadena, California; nephews, Peyton and Christian Wallace of Dry Fork, Virginia; nieces, Rhionna and Brionna Davis of Pasadena, California; grandfathers, Mark Stewart of Alto and Derrell Corn of Gainesville; also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2020, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Graylen Armour officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Holiness Church Cemetery in Lula.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
